Sensolytics SDC Software

Sensolytics SDC Software controls every stage of localized Scanning Droplet Cell measurements, from force-controlled tip approach and electrolyte exchange to automated electrochemical mapping and data acquisition.

SDC Software

Dedicated Control Software for Automated Scanning Droplet Cell Experiments

Sensolytics SDC Software was specifically developed for Scanning Droplet Cell (SDC) investigations, combining positioning control, force-sensor regulation, electrolyte handling, and electrochemical experiment execution within a single integrated environment.

The software enables automated localized electrochemical measurements across predefined sample grids while maintaining controlled contact pressure, reproducible electrolyte exchange, and synchronized experiment execution at every scan position.

Designed for both routine characterization and advanced research applications, the platform supports customizable NOVA ↗ procedures, automated scan definition, photoelectrochemical measurements, force-controlled positioning, integrated pump control, and flexible data export for further analysis, including direct export to electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs).

Highlights

Built for Automated Localized Electrochemical Measurements

Sensolytics SDC Software combines automated scan control, customizable electrochemical routines, and precise positioning for advanced SDC investigations.

Force-Controlled Positioning
Automatic contact-pressure regulation at every scan point
Custom NOVA Integration
Execute electrochemical routines directly at each measurement position
Photoelectrochemical Control
Integrated lamp control and synchronized illumination procedures
Automated Scan Experiments

Define and Execute Complex SDC Scan Measurements

The SDC experiment environment allows users to define complete automated scan experiments, including scan geometry, point spacing, pump parameters, force-control settings, and electrochemical procedures. A graphical preview of the measurement grid provides direct visual feedback during experiment setup, while individual scan points can be activated or excluded interactively for customized scan patterns.

At every scan position, the software automatically controls sample approach, electrolyte exchange, droplet formation, electrochemical detection, electrolyte aspiration, and movement to the next measurement location.

The integrated automation sequence ensures reproducible experimental conditions throughout large-area localized electrochemical investigations.

Photoelectrochemistry

Integrated Illumination Control

For systems equipped with the optional Option Photoelectrochemistry, the software provides direct LED lamp control, programmable illumination procedures, and synchronized photoelectrochemical experiment execution.

Different illumination modes, including constant current, brightness control, and pulse operation, can be configured directly inside the SDC software environment. A dedicated calibration interface allows the optimization and verification of illumination intensity using the integrated photodiode sensor system.
