PicoPlot: High-Precision Micro-Patterning Platform
The PicoPlot is a complete piezoelectric dispensing system designed for the preparation of material libraries and highly localized liquid deposition. The system combines a USB-controlled three-axis positioner, a piezodispensing unit, and a dedicated sample mounting platform in a compact setup for precise picoliter-scale dispensing. With a motorized travel range of 50 × 50 × 50 mm and a calculated minimum step width of 4 nm, PicoPlot enables accurate positioning and reproducible droplet placement for research and materials development applications.
Two interchangeable dispensing heads are available, covering droplet volumes from 100–200 pL and 600–1100 pL. One dispensing head of choice is included with the system. PicoPlot supports a wide range of media including dextran solutions, glycerol-based solutions, conductive polymers such as PEDOT:PSS and P3OT, proteins, and many other functional materials.
The PicoPlot functionality is also available as an upgrade option for Sensolytics Base SECM systems, combining localized electrochemical characterization with automated picoliter dispensing in a single platform.
